I love this place. No meathead, knuckleheads, or intimidation. They've crafted an amazing curriculum and genuinely care about helping you reach your personal goals, whether it be fitness, self defense, or competition. Keep up the awesome work guys!!!

My son started with kickboxing at 3 years old. Now, as an almost 7 year old, he does kickboxing, jujitsu, and wrestling at various times during the year. Amazing staff that become like family. Highly recommend.

Randall Phillips and crew run a top of the line gym. There are many different offerings ranging from martial arts inspired fitness options to competition Brazillian Jiu Jitzu and MMA training. My (now six year old) son has been training here for just over a year. Randall leads the little kids BJJ class and it is the right combination of both fun and serious skill training. The confidence increase in my son is remarkable. I highly recommend it.

My son takes wrestling, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and he is on the demo team. We absolutely love AMMA and the coaches.
They do an outstanding job training the children and encouraging those who want to compete in tournaments. I also love how even the coaches attend seminars and still get out there and compete in tournaments as well. Auburn Mixed Martial Arts is like one big family! Love it!!

Auburn MMA is a great place for both kids and adults to learn a variety of martial arts (particularly Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing) and to get a great workout without even realizing it -- because it's actually fun! The atmosphere is welcoming and family friendly. But make no mistake, this place isn't a McDojo, and the instructors are all accomplished athletes, fighters, and competitors. Almost three years ago, I started off watching my kid in kickboxing classes, and found it hard not to try out a class myself. I ended up taking up BJJ and have been hooked since (it's great for stress relief!) I even convinced the hubby to try out kickboxing, and he's now hooked too. The instructors are very patient and encouraging, and they're terrific with the kids. They also host birthday parties. My kid has had three birthdays there already, and Mr. Andy never fails to entertain the kids with fun action-filled games. Auburn MMA is a special place for our entire family.

Lack of exercise can lead to lethargy and have a negative impact on your health.

It can be difficult to get motivated to work out at home without the structure of a class.

Your mental and emotional health can suffer if you don’t get enough exercise.

Keeping yourself healthy and happy is a priority every day.

Try something new that you will love!

In stressful times – and particularly if you’re unable to get out of the house – it’s important to prioritize self-care and staying healthy. Having a regular exercise routine that’s easy to complete without special equipment can help you stay on track.

The workout you choose should help tone your body while strengthening your heart and lungs. The right virtual class can offer the guidance you need with all the benefits of a trip to the gym.

Results and growth with every class!

Virtual martial arts training for adults provides the kind of challenging workout you need to stay fit and healthy. Martial arts classes combine mental and physical discipline that can help you stay sharp even when circumstances mean that you’ve got to stay at home, giving you the energy and discipline you need.

Exercise Promotes Good Overall Health

Human bodies need to move to be healthy. Even if you’re at home all day, you need to exercise to keep your body strong.

Virtual martial arts training provides an intense, guided workout that you can follow from the privacy of your home. You can build muscle and tone your body without going to the gym.

Good physical fitness is an essential component of good health. Strengthening your lungs and muscles can help keep you feeling good about yourself.

Exercise Helps to Reduce Stress

Stress is something we all experience at times – and finding ways to manage it is extremely important for good mental and emotional health.

Intense workouts release feel-good hormones called endorphins. Whether you work out at the gym or at home, you get the same mental health benefits.

Martial arts training combines physical challenges with mental and emotional benefits. That’s because the martial arts emphasize building a mind-body connection that can keep you feeling centered even when life is difficult.

Martial Arts Classes Build Discipline

Some people are naturally disciplined, while others are not. If you struggle with discipline, it’s important to find ways to build healthy habits.

Signing up for a virtual martial arts class means making a commitment. It provides structure and an opportunity to improve the way you feel about yourself.

Virtual classes provide the same structure as in-person classes, where students learn new skills and test them, working toward long-term goals. In many ways, they’re the ideal option for working out at home.

Lose Weight and Gain Confidence

Many adults struggle to feel good about their bodies, particularly if they’ve gained weight over time. It can be hard to shed excess pounds without a regular fitness routine.

Martial arts classes offer fat-burning cardiovascular fitness combined with muscle toning. Building muscle helps to boost your metabolism, making it easier to lose weight.

In a virtual martial arts class, you’ll get the encouragement you need to work hard and burn calories. Over time, you’ll see your body change – and the pounds disappear.

Excellent coaching staff and friendly atmosphere. Instructors carry a lot of experience and knowledge and are a pleasure to be around.

FAQs

Do virtual martial arts classes offer the same benefits as in-person classes?

Yes, with one exception. Virtual classes don’t have the same social atmosphere as in-person classes, but they provide the same physical and mental benefits as our regular martial arts classes.

Do I need any special equipment to enroll in a virtual martial arts class?

All you need is loose, breathable workout clothes. You may want a mat as well, but it’s not a requirement. If you already have a uniform from a regular martial arts class, you can wear it.

How can I be sure I’m doing the workout properly?

Our instructors will provide the same detailed instructions and demonstrations they would in a live class. You’ll be able to follow their instructions to ensure you are mastering each skill you learn.

Are virtual classes live or can I set my own schedule?

The classes are available live and for most students, this option offers the ideal experience. However, we recognize that not everybody’s schedule is the same. If you can’t attend the class when it’s happening, we make recordings available, so you can work out on your own schedule.

Will taking a virtual martial arts class help me to lose weight?

It can. The best way to lose weight is to combine a regular fitness routine with a healthy diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables. Your body will respond best to foods that have plenty of nutrients.
